STAGON THOMAS PAUL ON HIS 85TH...

STAGON THOMAS PAUL On his 85th birthday, July 12, 2015, Thomas was called to his eternal reward after a brief illness. Thomas was the beloved son of the late Andrew and Mary (Jacko) Stagon. Thomas is survived by his loving brother, Leonard Stagon of West Mifflin; he was the devoted uncle of Ronald (Sharon) Stagon, Carolyn Napierkowski and Laura (Gregg) Morris; he is also survived by loving nephew, Zachary Brendza; and nieces, Meghan and Julia Morris. Thomas was an Army veteran of the Korean War, retired from U.S. Steel Homestead and Irvin Works with 45 years of service as a store clerk. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Cathedral. He served as president of the CAMEO Club and as a church usher. Tom enjoyed singing with the Archeparchial Choir for many years. He was also a member of the Greek Catholic Union Lodge - Munhall. Tom was an avid bowler and followed the Steelers and the Pirates. He enjoyed his trips to the casinos. Friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. Parastas will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. and a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Munhall at 10 a.m. followed by Interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Munhall.
