McCARTY ARDA A. Age 86, of Bethel Park, passed away on July 22, 2015. Arda was preceded in death by late husband, Donald; beloved mother of Diane McCarty, Douglas A. McCarty, Donald H. (Amy) McCarty III; grandchildren, Heath, Jake, Madeline and Emily. She was preceded in death by parents, Gordon and Izetta Knotts. After, Arda graduated from Iowa State University in 1951 with a degree in Home Economics. She went on to be employed by Sears Roebuck and Company, Chicago, IL in the advertising dept. Arda was an active member and the librarian for South Hills Assembly of God for many years. Visitation will be held Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:30 a.m. at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd.
