YARRIS JOHN DONALD Age 52, of West Elizabeth, formerly of Floreffe, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born March 30, 1965, in Pittsburgh to Harold Bud and Connie Yarris. Along with his parents, he is survived, and will be greatly missed by, his longtime partner, Jamie Robertson; daughters, Brandi (Ruben) Good, of McKeesport, Sheri Yarris, of McKeesport, Sydney Yarris, of Clairton; stepson, Seth Robertson, of West Elizabeth; grandchildren, Shania Yarris, Nijia Good, Nakiya Lee, Crisanna Lee; great-grandchild, Raelyn Starek; sisters, Valarie Yarris Becker, of Jefferson Hills, Susan Yarris Reid, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. John was preceded in death by daughter, Jessica Yarris. John was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, and was previously a cook at Olive Garden in Pleasant Hills. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, and working on cars. John was enthusiastically involved in Boy Scout Troup 1843 of Pleasant Hills and was an integral part of all activities. He was an essential part of his stepson, Seth, reaching the highest level of scouting, Eagle Scout. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Boy Scouts of America, 1275 Bedford Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025.
