PATRICIA LAVENIA TENCH October 4, 1930 - June 17, 2020 Patricia Lavenia Tench, age 89, daughter of the late Charles McLendon and Dorothy Corece Howard was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She and her two sisters attended the public schools in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh. Patricia married Bernard E. Tench, Sr. on June 12, 1955. Together they raised four children, Donna, Norrine, Bernard, Jr. and Cameron. Patricia accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was a young adult. One of her lifelong priorities was teaching her children the Word of God. Her gentle spirit and calm demeanor made her an excellent listener. As a result, she prayed often for her children, other family members and friends. When asked, she dispensed Godly advise. She leaves to mourn her passing her four children, Donna (Cleveland) Bibbens, Norrine (William) Taylor, Bernard (Sabrina) Tench, Jr. and Cameron (Angela) Tenth; two sisters, Seretha Witherspoon and Merdene Shaw; seven grandchildren, Ava, Dorian, Errika, Enjoli, Bernard, Ill, Todd and Terrel; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
