
BEST WILLIAM L. Age 65, of West Mifflin, passed unexpectedly yet peacefully of natural causes on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Loving husband of 32 years to Deborah Best; proud father of William J. (Emily) Best; caring son of Leah Agnes and the late William J. Best; brother of Debbie Huston; preceded in death by his devoted sister, Darleen Getz; adored son-in-law of Ada Troy; and brother-in-law of Charles (Brenda) Troy and Pam (Mitch) Black; Uncle BB is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, was a lifetime member of West Mifflin #3 Volunteer Fire Hall, a prominent member of his community, and an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. As an avid hunter and outdoorsman, he was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed automobile racing, motorcycles, and sports. Most of all he loved his family, taking care of his home and his loyal dog, Sarge. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the Funeral Services at 2:30 p.m. in JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Military Honors and interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
