Beloved husband of Mary (Ciraula) Purcell; father of Judith (DeeAnn Butchko) Purcell, Joy (Richard) Lamars, and William (Rachel) Purcell; grandfather of Sara Lamars, Payton Purcell, Nathan Purcell, Brenna Purcell-Butchko, and Alayna Purcell-Butchko; brother of the late William Purcell; and son of the late Elsie Wilhelm. He was happiest when spending time with his family, giving them the most genuine love and support. He was always ready with questions to ask others about their lives or ready to attend his grandkids' events, making sure they knew how proud he was of them. Regis was a veteran and worked for P&LE Railroad, and he loved to share stories about his life and his childhood. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He worked as an analytical chemist with PPG in Creighton and Harmarville for 47 years, retiring in 1996. KOVACK JOHN P. Age 75, of Sarver, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018, at his home with his loving wife by his side. His passing has left us with pain but he is finally free of pain. Born December 18, 1942, in Titusville, PA, he was the son of the late John Kovack and Francis Elizabeth Kovack. He was a 1960 graduate of East Deer Frazer and attended Allegheny Tech for two years. John worked at Magnavox in Champaign, IL, at Good Year Aerospace in Ohio for one year and Link Company in Binghampton, New York. John retired in 2007 from the Pittsburgh Bulk Mail Center in Wexford, PA after 32 years of service. He loved his job. John enjoyed traveling, hunting, camping and playing softball. Surviving are his loving wife, Susan Regent Kovack, whom he married April 27, 1973; his brothers, Thomas Kovack of New Kensington and Arthur Kovack; and his sister, Nancy Kovack Domschke of TN.
