YAGEL BOBBIE LEE BROWN Age 85, graduated joyfully to heaven with great anticipation of seeing her Lord face to face, passing peacefully on August 27, 2015, surrounded by her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Archer Brown; her sister, Erla Dunton Holloway; and her mother, Erla Ranson Brown. Bobbie attended Patrick Henry Elementary, Bainbridge Junior High, and John Marshall High School, receiving her B.A. from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond where she served as co-editor of the college newspaper. Following graduation, Bobbie scripted industrial movies, authored magazine articles, spoke nationwide on marriage and relationships, and served as the Director of Christian education at St. Giles Presbyterian Church for a number of years. After moving to Pennsylvania, Bobbie taught a weekly women's Bible study, ministering to some 200 women for 14 years. As an outgrowth of that teaching, she authored three books, Living with Yourself and Other Imperfect People, Building Better Relationships, and 15 Minutes to Build a Better Marriage. Bobbie enjoyed 63 loving years of marriage to Myron Yagel, with the added blessing of three wonderful children and their spouses, J. Craig Yagel, Ph.D. and Denise, Stephen Thomas Yagel and Beth, and Wendy Lee and Jeff Watros. Her family was made complete by six much-loved grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 5200 Grove Avenue, Richmond, VA on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., with a reception following at the church. BOTTONARI-KEIMER EDITH L. Edith Bottonari passed away peacefully, on August 31, 2015, in Upper St. Clair, PA. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1931, and raised in the Swiss village of Chur, Edith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved to experience the beauty, fun and adventure of life with her family and friends. Along the way, she learned to speak four languages and lived in several countries. She was also a gourmet who loved to teach cooking and entertain. A debutante at Chateau de Versailles, France, Edith was educated at the Sorbonne, Academie Maxim's, Paris, and Poggio Imperiale, Florence. She and her husband August, married 51 years, met in Rome, Italy and married at Santa Francesca Romana Church in the Roman Forum. They then lived in Naples, Italy for several years before moving to Upper St. Clair, where they raised their three children. In recent years she was a founding member of the Swiss Nationality Room Commitee at the University of Pittsburgh and was instrumental in the Swiss Room's conception and construction at the Cathedral of Learning. Edith is survived by her husband, August Bottonari; children, Caroline Rosenthal-Bottonari, Richard Bottonari, and Philip Bottonari; grandchildren, Philip, Alexander, Alexandra, Bear and Augusta; niece and goddaughter, Bettina Beichler-Alesch; and nephew, Peider Alesch; goddaughter, Yvonne Amschwand-Mueller; cousin, Hilda Mueller-Keimer; and lifelong friend, Angela Ganado-Cassar Torreggiani. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Louise Keimer; and her sister, Elisabeth Alesch-Keimer. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church in Bethel Park. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp. WHITE SARA LEE (KNOCH) Age 79, of Plant City, FL passed away September 1, 2015. She was born October 27, 1935, in Pittsburgh, PA to Elmer Glade Knoch and Sarah Esther Reidenbaugh. Sara Lee graduated from Oliver High School and lived most of her life in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked as a secretary for Allegheny General Hospital and Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel. Sara retired to Plant City, FL in 1997. She loved to sew, read, and watch all the Steelers football games. In addition to her parents, Sara Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Freddie Thomas White. She is survived by her brother, Allan Paul Knoch of Pittsburgh, PA; two children, Deborah Lee Shugerts and Donna Lynn Connell of Plant City; four grandsons, Zachary Thomas Mays, Ryan James Shugerts, Patrick Thomas Shugerts and Trenten Chase Connell, all of Plant City.
