Carl was one of God's special angels who always had a smile for everyone. He had a great sense of humor and loved Elvis and Hawaii Five-0. Mary Ann retired from McKeesport Hospital after being a dedicated nurse for many years. MEANS WILLIAM H. “WILD BILL” Age 90, of Murrysville, passed away, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, on Friday, October 9, 2015. Brother of Harvey Means, Olive Reese and Ruth Buzzard. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great- great-nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, H. Harvey and Julia (Cargo) Means; as well as his siblings, Mary Anderson, Henrietta Trescher, Margaret Green, Grace Byrne, Robert and Francis Means. He was a graduate of Slippery Rock State Teachers College. Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of a Purple Heart. PROSSER RAYMOND HAYDEN October 16, 1962 - October 8, 2015. Raymond Hayden Prosser, 52, went to be with the Lord, on October 8, 2015. He was the husband of Karen Prosser. They shared 16 years of marriage together. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Hayden "Ray" and Jean Prosser of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Eastern Carolina University and owned and operated a residential construction business, Prosser Construction, Inc. He was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, South Carolina, where he actively served as a deacon. He most enjoyed being with his wife, family and grandchildren. His passions included God, building with his hands, boating, fishing and baseball. Ray was a man's man. His hands were as strong as a two-by-four but his heart was a mirrored image of God's love, mercy and grace. Ray is survived by his wife, Karen; parents, Hayden and Jean; sister, Pam McCracken; brother, Paul (Peg) Prosser; son, Terry (Sarah) Hinton, son, Billy (Petra) Hinton, son, Joel (Sara) Hinton; grandchildren, Abigail, Berlin, Samantha, Vienna and Jacqueline Hinton; nieces, Mallory McCracken and Zoey Prosser; and nephew, Paxton Prosser. Mr. Cairns was a truck driver with the Master Halco Co. and was a member of the Cuddy VFW and was a Vietnam army veteran. Surviving are his children, Theresa Greenwood of Morgan, David (Samantha) "Binx" Cairns II of Carnegie; grandchildren, Melissa (Alan) Pero, Stephen (Julia) Fedorchak, Alisha Cairns, Sean Manion, Izaya Partee; also surviving are nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Harding (deceased) and Maria Mercedes Harding. Beloved wife of 44 years to Jon Paul Leimkuehler; loving mother of Ann (Jimmy) Moss, Aaron (Olga), Peter (Sarah), Bridget (Mark) Kinneer, and Laura (Mike) Mullin. She leaves 12 adored grandchildren, Aedan, Sammy, Stella, Scarlett, Violet, Oscar, Charlie, Fisher, Parker, Bear, Loam, and Wesley. She also leaves behind her brother and sisters, Doug (Carmen) Harding, Sylvia Lewin, and Susie (Bob) Doak; along with many cherished nieces and nephews. She was a 1969 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, and 1973 graduate of the University of Hartford. She was an active member of Upper St. Clair Newcomer's Club, Upper St. Clair League for the Arts, South Hills Art League, and St. Clair Country Club Women's Golf Association. Ellen was a beautiful, artistic, kind, peaceful, and wonderful example to us all on how to live your life.
