CAMP TIERRA BRITTANY Age 17, passed away, March 28, 2016, in Kirkland, Washington. Tierra was born May 5, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to loving parents Brian and Nicole Camp. She was a very active child who loved playing with her siblings. After the family moved to Washington in 2001, Tierra attended Mark Twain Elementary and Stella Schola Middle School before graduating to Lake Washington High School where she was a Senior. Tierra is survived by her parents, Brian and Nicole Camp; and siblings, Tarik and Tori Camp. Tierra leaves to cherish her memory her grandparents, William Camp (Nan); aunts, Lisa Fowowe (Peter), Karen Smith (Marcellus); cousin, Gabriel Fowowe and a host of great- uncles, great-aunts, great- cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Carol Cotton, Shirley Camp; and uncle, Darryl Jenkins. O'CONNOR JAMES R. Age 82, a Sewickley resident since 1984, formerly of Glen Osborne, Avalon and Moon Township, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh on July 26, 1933, he was the only child to the late James J. and Emily (Bricks) O'Connor. A talented and creative artist, he had been in advertising for such companies as Heinz, Rockwell, Ketchum MacLeod and Grove as well as Fisher Scientific. In his retirement, he enjoyed being the front desk clerk for Sewickley Country Inn. A 1952 graduate of Moon Area High School, he went to the University of Pittsburgh where he obtained his BA in 1956 and Master's in Journalism. James is survived by his cousin Patricia O'Connor Slinsky of Dravosburg, PA. Growing up in Avalon, he considered the Caldwells his second family, Jack Caldwell of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, Bill Caldwell of McCandless Township, Bob Caldwell of Franklin Park, Judy Caldwell Martinson of Mars, the late Janet Caldwell Peden and their parents, John and Helen. LINHART PAMELA FISHER Age 93, formerly of Fox Chapel, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Her great love was for the Lord, her family, her friends and even strangers. She was married to the late Dr. Randolph W. Linhart for 58 wonderful years. She grew up in Greensburg, PA; was active in the West Penn Hospital Auxiliary, Squaw Run Garden Club and loved volunteering at the annual Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church Fair. She is survived by her children, Pamela L. Entwisle, Randolph W. Linhart, Jr. and Jill L. Casey; her grandchildren, Robert M. Entwisle IV, A. Tyler Entwisle, Anna L. Dickenson, Rachel M. Linhart, Randolph W. Linhart III, Kelly C. Parnigoni and Samuel B. Casey IV; her great- grandchildren, Madeline G. and Andrew J. Entwistle, Samuel B. V, and Emily E. Casey, John David and Jack S. CROSS AGNES Age 97, a former resident of Clairton, PA, passed away at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Billy in San Diego, CA on March 25, 2016. Born December 14, 1918, in Irwin, PA. She was the youngest of four daughters born to the late John and Elizabeth Gubanich. She was married to the late John G. Buck of McKeesport, PA and the late Thomas J. Cross of Clairton, PA. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Buck) Billy, Dr. Edward J. Billy; grandson, Christopher Billy and his wife, Meghan (Irr) Billy; and her great-grandson, Finnegan E. Billy of West Mifflin, PA. Son of the late Joseph and Nola Mae (Tidball) Herman; survived by his beloved wife, Lynn (Chambers); and adoring children, son, Gregory; and daughter, Anna Mae Herman (Dakota Pruneda); exceptionally proud Pap Pap to his beautiful LuLu Isabella Herman Pruneda; dear brother of James Herman, Judith (Jack) Kosslow, Robert (Lucille) Herman, Eleanor Brickley, Lawrence (Elaine) Herman, and Ralph (Margaret) Herman. Preceded in death by brother, David Herman; son-in-law of Reed and Shirley Chambers; brother-in-law of Susan (Tom) Barber and Bill (Marybeth) Chambers; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews across the country. Fred was proud to be a Vietnam veteran, and of his exemplary military service to his country. His passions in life were golfing, cooking, entertaining family, boating, fishing, and especially his favorite Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers. WORKMASTER WALLACE F. Age 82, of Mount Lebanon, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Family Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Mount Lebanon, PA. Wally was born March 29, 1934, in Mount Lebanon, the son of Harry C. and Dorothy (Root) Workmaster. After graduating from Mount Lebanon High School in 1951, he went on to develop his deep passion for history at Penn State, graduating with degrees in the field in 1955 (bachelor's) and 1957 (master's). Wally married Joan M. Allen on June 13, 1959. In 1960, Wally became the site curator and historian at Fort Ontario State Historic Site in Oswego, NY. He devoted up to 30 years of his career developing "The Fort" and other central NY sites into popular museum destinations. Wally retired in 1995, as Manager of the Palisades and Taconic Regions State Historic Sites, based in Bear Mountain, NY. He returned to his hometown and soon became active in the local history scene, notably reviving the Historical Society of Mount Lebanon and co-founding the Mount Lebanon Historic Preservation Board, and continued his lifelong love of both real and model railroads. Wally was proud of and loved his family and is survived by children, Wallace, Jr. of Queens, NY, Douglas (Uriel Sandoval) of Sausalito, CA, and Beth Ann (Linda Crubaugh) of Madison, WI; granddaughter and great-grandson, Stephanie (Andrew) and Mason Andujar of East Stroudsburg, PA; and wife, Joan of Rochester, NY. A memorial service will be held in Mount Lebanon at the convenience of the family (TBA). KUMMER CAROL SCHINDLER Age 74, passed on April 2, 2016, with family at her bedside in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on February 3, 1942, in Manchester, New Hamphshire, she graduated from North Hills HS in 1959 and Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA in 1963. Carol retired from the banking industry in human resources in 2012. Early on, she worked for US Steel Corp. Most of her career was with PNC in Pittsburgh and Citibank, N.A., in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Grace Schindler; her sister, Judy L. Lord; and former husband, Calvin R. Kummer. She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Ann Harper of Las Vegas and Jennifer Lee Lyon of Tulsa; son-in-law, Don A. Lyon, Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Patricia Schindler; sister-in-law, Marjorie Kummer; grandchildren, Derek Fickess, Judy Fickess, Meagan Lyon and Drew Lyon; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private family memorial held in Tulsa at the end of April and another in Las Vegas later this summer.
