Born June 14, 1927, in McCandless Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Wagner) Hohman. She is survived by her sons, John (Dawn) Layden, of Edinboro, David (Pamela) Layden of New Kensington; sisters, Jane Schmidt, of McCandless Township, Lucy Logan of Ross Township, Wilma Gruver of Ross Township; brother, Roy Hohman of Cranberry Township; grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffery, Mitchell, Justin and Sevrin Layden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army where he received a Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal. Mr. Hergenroeder was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Meny Hergenroeder and by a grandson, Forrest Fields.
