SCARAMUZZO WILLIAM J. “BILL” Age 92, of Jackson Twp., passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital. Born on April 24, 1925, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Guiseppe Scaramuzzo and Maria Carmela DiSaia Scaramuzzo. Bill was a faithful member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Evans City. He proudly served our country in the Navy during World War II. His family was a very important part of his life and always came first above all else. Bill will be dearly missed. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Gail (Glen) Chambers of Springfield, OH, and Joe (Dawn) Scaramuzzo of Allison Park, PA; his sisters, Elsie (Tony) Asquino and Rena Venditti; his grandchildren, Michael, Brad, Ryan, Marc, Devon and Cameron; and his great- grandchildren, Kennedy, Gabriella, Adam and Isaac; and his dear friend of 30 years, Deanne Woodling. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Scaramuzzo; his daughter, Aleta Giuliani; his brother, Mariano Scaramuzzo; and his sisters, Mary Borrelli and Beatrice Smith. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018, at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 116 E. Main Street, Evans City, PA 16033. CORBETT JOHN J. “BUCKY” Of Turtle Creek, age 88, died peacefully, surrounded by his family and was welcomed into Heaven on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2018. Bucky was born on September 26, 1929, to Patrick F. and Philomena (Taylor) Corbett. Bucky served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a cook and active in Korea from 1951-1953. Upon his return home from duty, Bucky met his future wife while playing shuffleboard at a local club in Braddock, his home for 35 years. Bucky was the beloved husband of Theresa (Fusca) Corbett for 63 years; Bucky went on to work a 40- year career at US Steel. He worked in the blast furnaces of the Edgar Thompson Mill and his hard work led to a management position. Bucky was a proud, hardworking Irishman. His commitment to his work never overshadowed his love and dedication to his family. He truly loved his family. Bucky was the loving father of Patrick (Carol) Corbett, Tish (Jeff) Maciupa, Grace (JR) McAllen, Janet (Rick) Urbaniak, John (June) Corbett, Jr., Chris (Jason) Valentine, and Jim (Sara) Corbett; proud grandfather of Patrick (Stephanie) Corbett, Colleen (Michael) Duddy, Michael Corbett, Jeffrey Maciupa, Michael Maciupa, John T. Becky was a registered nurse for 40 years and she loved taking care of the people around her, as well as her many "fur babies" throughout her life. Her many passions included cross stitch, knitting, and the outdoors. Her devotions to her faith carried her through all of the days of her life. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who have known her. Family will welcome friends on Monday, March 19, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View 15229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Church on Tuesday March 20, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Rebecca's name.
